    • Read A Brief Rant on the Future of Interaction Design by Bret Victor:
    • Choose an app (not a game) for your smartphone or tablet that has location-based features central to its operation and spend some time using it. Some apps to consider include: Apple Maps, Waze, Yelp, Trip Advisor, Foursquare, Tinder, Uber, Dark Sky, and Hotels.com. You may also want to try your chosen app’s competition.
    • Write a 500 word critique of your chosen app on the IMA Documentation Blog keeping in mind Bret Victor’s points about human need and human capability. Some questions to consider: What is successful about the app? What would you change to make the app more useful? How could you improve its usability? Are there any emerging trends or technologies that could augment or improve the app in the future?
